Censor Bar Art – Music Videos

No Comments 03 March 2010

Censor Bar Art, is basically Art that has censored itself in the name of art using censor boxes to be part of the experience. Because let’s face it in most countries (probably not France) if the same videos where to be show on TV (maybe not Channel 4 at night) they would have the censor bars added to protect the morals of our society! You can stop laughing now, but apparently we have morals and they are worth protecting so you sinners who dare to look at the naked human form best get your evil ways sorted right out!

If of course you fall in the majority that don’t have a problem with nudity in its rightful place (art school, the beach, strip clubs, under your clothes, etc) then you should enjoy these fun music videos. I have put them in the order of who I think done it 1st however something tells me them cheeky French chaps might have done this before the Toe Jam people, but I am feeling far too lazy to look it up on the Interwebs to find out.

Toe Jam by The BTA

Baby Baby Baby by Make The Girl Dance

Naked Girls Get Interrupted by Music Steve

The last one was I believe was used to promote Guitar Hero 5 (or was that a different one by the same person) and is clearly a parody of the Baby Baby Baby music video. If you enjoyed these Censor Art Music Video’s let me know what your favourite was or if you have seen any others post a comment. Right I am off to buy a couple of the black line things ;-)

Sigur Ros, Strangely Good Music

No Comments 15 May 2008

I am sitting here listening to a few tracks from my Sigur Ros collection and I was wondering how many people actually know who they are? Well probably not that many, indeed my wife doesn’t like the music. However believe it or not if you live in the UK you will have heard music from Sigur Ros as they some of the Staralfur track from the album Agaetis Byrjun has been used by the BBC in the “reinforcing the brand” commercials you see between BBC programs. Anyway worth checking out if you are into all kinds of music but definitely avoid if you not got an open mind when it comes to experiencing different types and styles of music as this stuff is very different from anything main stream.

Note: I have not used the Icelandic letters as it will take ages looking around the character map for them.
